While current students may not have had the chance to know our Uncle Wayne, God put it on his heart to help start The Rock over 20 years ago. It is because of his obedience and dedication that countless high school students have had a place to go on Friday and Saturday nights since 2006. Uncle Wayne will always hold a special place in our hearts, and has left his fingerprints at The Rock. His memory will live on and we will be reminded of him every day we are open through every 'No running!' comment made, forever.

About us
The Rock's mission is to provide a safe, wholesome, and fun place for the high school age students. The primary purpose of The Rock is to furnish an alternative to what the world has to offer where they can hang out on Friday and Saturday nights in a tobacco-free, alcohol-free, drug-free, Christian environment. Although founded upon faith-based principles, The Rock is not a church nor is it affiliated with any one church or denomination. The Rock is not intended to compete with church youth groups, but to enhance them. The Rock is directed by a board of civic minded citizens inspired to create a better environment for high school students of the universe.

We run solely on donations. All funds received go towards hosting fun activities for the students, new things to do, improvements and upkeep to our nearly 100 year old building, and regular operating expenses.
The Rock is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.
